"You tell them," Sam whispered, glancing through the doorway to the sofa where two shapes sat watching something on the television set. "They'll listen to you."
Ewan frowned, following Sam's gaze before looking back to his boss/landlord/friend/lover. "They'll skin me alive! I say we do what Winston suggested and just hose them down."
Sam glared at Ewan's grinning face, watching as the smirk fell at the dark look he was given. "Its the shower or nothing."
Admist their whispered argument, a deep voice boomed out from the room. "We can hear you two lovebirds whispering!"
"They're your angels," Ewan stated, but he gave in at the pleading puppy dog look Sam gave him. Stuffing his hands into the pockets of his jeans, Ewan strode into the room and stood in front of the T.V. He was fixed with a glare from the two men on the couch, and the human did his best not to crumple under the weight of the angel's displeasure. "We have something we'd like to tell you."
"Can it wait?" asked Ambriel with his deep voice, stuffing a handful of brightly coloured m&m's into his open mouth. "Lesbian Spank Inferno is due to start soon."
"It can wait," Ewan said smoothly.
Cassiel leaned over to speak to his angelic companion. "I think they're ganging up on us." He pointed behind him, where Sam had moved to stand behind the sofa, arms folded at his chest. "Do you want the skinny one, or shall I?"
Ambriel smirked. "Attack Formation Omega."
Cassiel gasped, throwing one hand against his open mouth in mock-shock. "Not Attack Formation Omega! Ambriel, they're only humans. Surely you're not set on Attack Formation Omega?"
Ewan cleared his throat in a way of announcing he was not impressed by the lack of attention he was being given. "We have a request to make of you two."
"Does it involved beer?" Ambriel asked.
"No."
"No can do then, Ewan. I mean, its not like we're all powerful beings that are capable of doing God's work."
"You're ANGELS!" The youngest male in the room growled, curling his fingers into fists. "And currently you're SMELLY ANGELS!" With another growl, he pointed in the general direction of the bathroom. "Shower. Now."
Cassiel blinked mutely, while Ambriel remained stoic and silent beside him. Slowly he rose up from the seat and adjusted the jacket on his shoulders. Rolling shoulders and neck, he looked at Ewan. He looked terrifying and formidable as he stood - almost towering - over Ewan. He stood like that for several moments. Ewan's heart was thundering in his chest, and he swallowed at the lump formed in his throat.
And then Ambriel smirked and did as he was told, motioning for Cassiel to follow him. "I expect beer for this," he yelled as he left the room.
All the breath built up in his chest came flying out of him in one single blast, and Ewan crumpled onto the sofa. Looking up, and grinned at the face of Sam that was smiling down at him. Reaching up, fingers grazed the skin of Sam's arm, trailing down to his hand and tugging him onto the sofa with him. Settling into a comfortable jumble of arms and legs, he looked over at the television and the T.V. show the two angels had been watching. "Sooo...Lesbians?" he asked with a chuckle while nnuzzling into Sam's neck.
